In a joint initiative, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Society for Risk Analysis are launching a special collection across their journals, AWWA Water Science and Risk Analysis.
The collection will feature original, peer-reviewed research and review articles on risks affecting drinking water systems and services. Key themes include human health and water, engineering resilience, utility financial stability, and responses to natural disasters. Utilities, public health professionals, and academic researchers are especially encouraged.
All submissions will undergo standard peer review, and accepted papers will be co-branded, co-promoted, and published as part of the final joint collection.
