A new training package has been launched that builds practical skills for designing and implementing risk-based drinking-water surveillance. The course introduces core concepts, tools and case examples, showing how surveillance programmes can use WSP and risk-assessment outcomes to prioritise monitoring, target inspections and strengthen sanitary inspection. Special guidance is included for small supplies, supporting countries to apply surveillance findings to drive progressive improvement towards safer and more resilient drinking-water services.
